Schumacher Mission EC edition

Well, heres what I am currently racing / working on. Its my Mission which I am upgrading in a similar way to the MI2 EC.

Current specs are not brilliant, they are just what I bought to get the car running so I had something to race at the local club.

The Radio gear is a mixture of an Acoms Techniplus Transmitter, an old Hitec Reciever, a new MTroniks Msonik RV15 ESC (Reverse doesnt work for some reason), a Yokomo Pro Stock 21 turn motor and a saddle pack of GP3700 cells which I built myself.

All wires were cut to an absolute minimum and the motor wires were soldered directly to the motor doing away with the plugs.

It has a Carbon Fibre top deck, HPI Super Star wheels and Schumacher Yellow Mini Pins.

I will publish some better pictures soon so the modifications are clearer to see.

Top picture shows a Carbon Fibre MI2 3700 battery tray with purple alloy battery posts. Really easy to fit in the Mission, just needs the cell slots in the chassis filing and two new holes drilling.

Also, I have replaced all the original screws with black pozi screws all seated in purple alloy washers the same as the MI2 EC. The screws might eventually be changed for the allen head type depending how far the project goes.

So far I am still looking for / wanting the Purple Alloy Lay Shaft Mounts, Diff Mounts, Purple Titanium Pivot Pins, Turnbuckles etc and also the last couple of bits of Carbon Fibre to finish the chassis.

Then, its the Cat 2000 or Cougar 2000 for the same EC treatment.
